Welcome to the Production Music Wiki

The Production Music Wiki is about production music and individual music libraries and tracks along with their history and foreign distributors, as well as the media that the tracks are featured in.
Main rules
- No spamming
- No vandalism
- No nudity, unless a production music cover happens to feature it.
- No bullying
- No false information (including info about fake companies that weren't featured in any authentic media)
- While creating an article, please make sure it has some content (do not leave it blank after creation of an article or with only a few generic sentences).
- If you are creating an article about a production (such as series, movies or other programs) or a company (including network), please make sure you provide at least one identified production music cue featured in the production or used by the company. Otherwise, the necessary information (including track title, composer(s) names and album IDs) should be put in the article by three days to find and add the necessary information. Failure to do so after the aforementioned term, results in the incomplete article being deleted.
- For articles about movies and series, the article should feature only tracks that were featured in the particular production itself. For tracks that were used in trailers and commercials related to them (including the tracks that weren't featured in the production proper or were featured only in bonus features or menus related to the productions' home entertainment release), please put info in proper special article (including List of miscellaneous DVD menus or Trailers).
- Regarding trailers (given by their short duration and consequently short number of music library used) each trailer should not have separate articles and instead info should be put in Trailers article. If instead of updating the trailer article, the user keeps continuously making separate articles for each trailer, such an action may result in the articles being deleted and the info moved to the trailers article if it wasn't present there.
- Information about the production music tracks used in promos for productions shown on a particular network shall be included in articles about the network itself (or in some cames the owner of such network).
- Information about short videos on platform-sharing websites (such as YouTube or Dailymotion) should be put in miscellaneous shorts article. However, they should either came from official studio/producer channel (including the channels managed by one) or from massively popular channels that likely started to actually authorized usage of stock music. As of February 17, 2025, the info about amateur videos (also due to lack of originality) with unauthorized usage of production music is no longer allowed.
- If a user keeps disobeying the rules of the Wiki, then his/her/their actions may result in ban.
- Any attempt of circumventing account ban (f.e. by sockpuppeting) will result not only in the user's new account banned, but also the ban on his/her/their original account being extended.
Note: You have the right to listen these library tracks but unless you have a license, please do not use them in your media. For more information regarding this, click here.
