Production Music Wiki

Musique Cinema Television was a French production music library founded in 1970. In the early years, the company belonged to Disques Magellan. In 1973, the company became independent.

In 2000, the company was purchased by Zomba Music Group, ending the label’s activities and creating the Galerie label, which re-released some songs from Musique Cinema Television. In 2002, Zomba Music Group was purchased by BMG Music, creating BMG Zomba Production Music. In 2007, BMG Zomba was purchased by Universal Publishing Production Music.

In November 2020, selected older Patchwork albums (mainly the tracks published by EMI-owned Alouette Editions) started being re-released by EMI Production Music. Meanwhile, on January 31, 2022, Universal Production Music started uploading on their sites albums they still own rights to.
