Production Music Wiki

Mondiophone was an French-turned-Canadian production music library founded in 1972 by Louis Delacour. Originally produced in France, the library's operations were transferred in 1974 to Crea Sound, also founded by Delacour.

In 1976, Crea Sound moved its headquarters to Canada and coincidentally the label stopped using Mondiophone name (in spite of retaining the MON prefix) on the cover and instead used its parent company's name Crea Sound. The company also reissued the Neuilly catalog. However, in 1985, the catalog reintroduced the Mondiophone name with a new logo.

In June 2006, Louis Delacour retired and sold Crea Sound (including Mondiophone library) to Kapagama.[1] In spite of this, as of 2021 only selected Mondiophone tracks are available as part of Kosinus Archive lineup to this day.
