Production Music Wiki

Killer Tracks is an American production music library and distributor (before rebranding to Universal) founded by Sam Trust in 1989.

In 1991, BMG Music acquired 50% shares in the company, while five years later it bought the remaining shares in Killer Tracks.

In the mid-1990s, Killer Tracks became the American production music distributor for many libraries owned by BMG Music including Atmosphere, Cezame, Koka Media, Match Music, and Not Just Jingles. Killer Tracks also acquired Network Music in 2006.

In 2019, Killer Tracks celebrates the library's 30th anniversary by rebranding Killer Tracks Production Music as Universal Production Music.
