Family Adventure Orchestra is a production music album released in 2009 by Killer Tracks. All tracks were originally written for the 2003 Canadian Christmas film, "Blizzard".

1:54 Medium Tempo. A hesitant awakening of the orchestra opens to a majestic and flowing theme later joined by female choir. Powerful brass brings home this inspirational piece closing with a grand finale.

3:05 Medium Tempo. Flowing strings state the main theme once again before settling into a choral style French horn tutti section which is later reclaimed by the strings and woodwinds. Somber yet hopeful.

4:00 Medium Tempo. A sparse, magical introduction features harp, clarinet, celeste, and flute. Female choir and orchestra join @ 1:51 with the sweeping theme which builds until settling back into a more intimate setting @ 3:07.

2:22 Medium Tempo. A beautiful woodwind opening gives way to let the celli perform the melody @ :22. The piece continues to build as more of the orchestra joins, evolving into a heroic and majestic theme full of fanfare and grace.

3:22 Medium Tempo. A changing landscape with pizzicato strings, bells, and cellos giving way to female choir. Playful pizz strings and woodwinds interrupt @ 1:25. Brass enters @ 1:49 shortly followed by strings and the full orchestra.

2:11 Medium Tempo. Broad and sweeping. Solo flute on top of strings and harp open to a vast sonic landscape. Full Orchestra @ :57. The wide expanse and beauty of nature in a moving, heartwarming setting.

1:46 Slow Tempo. The anticipation is palpable as this piece begins. Tremolo low strings provide an underpinning for Celeste and violins which are later joined by brass. The piece devolves into a smaller sound @ 1:13 as danger appears.

2:08 Up Tempo. Intense marcato strings grab your attention as female choir provides a pad on top of which brass interject with blaring tone clusters and intense themes. Dangerous and urgent, it's a life and death situation.

10 34 Don't Lose Hope Mark McKenzie

2:02 Up Tempo. Intense, climbing strings with rumbling timpani, French horns, and heroic trumpet which gives way @ :48 as the strings come through with a sweeping melodic statement. All is well @ 1:04 and finishes with a climactic fanfare.

1:29 Medium Tempo. A mythical march with strings and celeste sets you on your way. The mischief begins @ :50 as the march is broken up with woodwind interjections and glissing strings. Mysterious and troubling things await.

12 36 I'll Never Forget You Mark McKenzie

2:59 Slow Tempo. Sad and longing. Oboe, flute, and clarinet trade solos on top of a somber string section which continues to slowly build until 2:15. Things then begin to decrescendo leaving the suspense hanging.

1:52 Slow Tempo. Female choir, Glockenspiel, strings, harp and woodwinds provide a beautiful setting for a touching and yet uncertain scene. Emotional, thoughtful and a bit heartwarming.

1:47 Slow Tempo. Delicate solo flute begins and is soon joined by strings. The building uncertainty opens to sweeping string theme @ :38. Harp plays the melody on top of tremolo strings @ 1:12 and ends quietly with solo flute.

1:45 Slow Tempo. A string bed quickly gives way to solo harp as it beautifully and gently states the melody. Strings and choir reenter @ :37. Then, it's the flutes turn to perform the melody @ 1:00.

1:28 Slow Tempo. Strings provide a bed on top of which a graceful piano and flute perform the melody. Glockenspiel and harp provide further harmonic support and help create a slightly magical feeling. Hopeful and romantic.
