Disney Channel is an American television network launched on April 18, 1983, currently operated by Disney Branded Television. It started off as pay television channel until it transitioned to a basic cable channel on April 6, 1997.
Disney Channel (as well as its sister networks, Disney XD and Disney Junior) are known for their use of library music on promos, fillers and bumpers.
