Production Music Wiki

Chappell Recorded Music Library (also known as just Chappell) is a British production music library, originally formed in 1941 as recorded music library arm of Chappell and Co.

In 1987, Chappell and Co. was acquired by Warner Music and the year later, the company's recorded music library catalogue was sold to Zomba Group. In 2002, BMG purchased Zomba and amalgamated their production division to create the BMG Zomba Production Music, which Chappell is still a part of. BMG Zomba Production Music was eventually sold to Universal Publishing Production Music.
